Isabelle Davis
Singer/Songwriter | Actor | Musician
Story telling is at the core of all my creative endeavours.
Born in Melbourne and raised in Shanghai, Isabelle graduated from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Theatre in 2019 - just in time for the world to shut down. Isabelle used this time to focus on her music career, releasing her debut EP Small World in September of 2021 followed by her debut single Faith in Rainy Days later that year.
Testimonials
“I had the pleasure working with and directing Isabelle Davis in Outback Adventures (Melbourne Shakespeare Company, 2023). Throughout the whole process, she approached every rehearsal with a positive attitude and a kindness to all. Her consistent passion and energy can be seen as she radiates on stage. Isabelle is incredibly driven and disciplined, with beautiful vocal abilities and dance skills that showcase the joy she brings.”
— Bridget Sweeney
“Isabelle is a true triple threat. Her natural talent and thoughtful and intuitive interpretation of character renders much of the director's role superfluous. In a fast paced rehearsal process (a two week period to rehearse a 90 minute musical), Isabelle effortlessly brought joy and professionalism to her work and consistently put the collective vision for the show ahead of self interest. It’s a pleasure to work with someone so free from ego, particularly when working in comedy, as performers can often become addicted to ‘cheap laughs’ during a shows run. Isabelle’s commitment to consistency is a testament to her maturity and professionalism and I wouldn’t hesitate to work with her again.”
— Desiree Munro, Dir. Share House: The Musical
“Isabelle is one of the most dedicated and driven creatives I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with. Her professionalism on stage and in the studio makes her a joy to work with, and her talents both as a songwriter and performer never cease to amaze me.”
